DocuSweep is operated by PFL Systems LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. This policy describes what information we collect when you use DocuSweep and how it's used.
Information we collect
Your email address, to send you a sign-in link and your paid report.
The document you upload for analysis, and the three context answers you provide (your role, the document type, and your top concern).
If the document you upload contains information about other individuals (for example, a counterparty's name or contact details), that information is processed the same way as any other document content described in this policy. By uploading a document, you represent that you have the right to share it and any third-party information it contains — see the Indemnification section of our Terms of Service.
Payment is handled entirely by Stripe — DocuSweep never receives or stores your card details.
Basic technical data (IP address), used for abuse and rate-limit prevention, and to keep a record of when and from where you agreed to these policies.
A timestamped record that you agreed to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, kept separately from your sign-in session so it doesn't expire when that session does.
Communications
We use your email address to send transactional emails needed to operate DocuSweep (sign-in links, your generated reports). When you click a sign-in link, you also opt in to occasional service and product-update emails. You can opt out of those non-transactional emails at any time by contacting [email protected].
Third-party processors
We share data with the following services solely to provide DocuSweep's functionality:
Anthropic— your uploaded document and context answers are sent to Anthropic's API to generate your analysis. Execution data is retained under Anthropic's standard data retention policy; this is nota zero-data-retention arrangement. See Anthropic's own published privacy policy for details on how they handle this data.
Stripe — processes payment for unlocking a full report.
Resend and Postmark — deliver transactional email (sign-in links and your report).
Data retention
Your uploaded document's raw file is never written to disk on our servers — it passes directly to Anthropic's Files API in memory, and the copy held by Anthropic is deleted immediately after your report is generated. The generated report itself (including quoted excerpts from your document) is retained on our servers for 30 days after it's created, then automatically and permanently deleted — including the copy your report link would otherwise point to. Download your PDF or save the emailed copy if you want to keep it past that window.
Cookies
We set a single httpOnly session cookie after you verify your sign-in link, valid for 30 days, used only to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as DocuSweep develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. This policy is governed by the same law as our Terms of Service.
